Fish in "Shock" ??? Seizures???

R.I.P. "Rocky"

It is with sad news that I had to euthanize the shark. When I came back home from the LFS he was belly up but this time around did not have any fight left in him. I tried to help him out again but he could not recover. He fought bravely for 3 days but I could not watch him suffer anymore.

I did catch his final moments on video with me trying to help him. I will not post it on here because it is extremely painful to watch and I do not want to offend some people. I also have "post-mortem" pictures if you would like to try and diagnose this.

I can tell you that after 3 days of trying to save the poor guy, I am both mentally and physically exhausted. Somehow I already knew it would come to this. I just wish I knew why it happened in the first place.

Anyway, if anyone would like to see the video or pics, PM me for the link.

You did all you could and then some. He must have been a very hardy fighter because from the description you gave, it sounded really serious. I feel your pain because I too had to euthanize a fish for the same reason--A Diamond Tetra.

Thanks all... yesterday really drained me. Still feeling it. But hey, the other 4 and the pleco are doing fine. On the good side, now I have a 10g I can use for a betta which my fiance wants now.
