Fish Store Hopping in San Jose, CA - aslo - What the heck is THIS??

well grins... there are a few species that dont find corals tasty and are actually reef safe....such as the bristletail filefish... it only grows to about 4-5" and eats aiptasia for ya too =).

the bristletail one isnt exactly what i would call pretty.. LOL

That's a cool fish.

Wow I didn't know there was some many stores in the area. I'm up in Sac area. I may have to come down there and check out some of those stores.

Well shoot! It looks like I missed Dolphin Pet Village. It looks nice on their website. But no, and it's sad, cuz I WAS at D&J today! It's not listed in the phone book, though, which is why we missed it! Well, there's always tomorrow...

like i said, they just moved locations. they used to be right next to D&J. The moved just down campbell avenue in Kirkwood plaza. i do for their deal on cleaners. nas snails are around 6 for $4 and same with hermits.

What was the cross street for Atlantis Aquarium/Amazon Pets cause i couldnt find it

I just went to Dolphin Pet Village today - very nice! Better than Atlantis. Atlantis is at 1711 Branham Lane - Branham and Ross, I think. Right off of highway 85.

LonersBlaze:. Just answer this.. Is D.P.Village next door to Baskin Robbins?

I'm getting really confused because D&J used to be in Los Gatos. And you say DPV is in Kirkwood Plaza. Last time I was in DPV, about 8 years ago, it was in Kirkwood Plaza with 31 Flavors,(now about 18 measly flavors), just across the asphalt.

I don't know where it used to be... But it's now pretty much right on W campbell ave. You should easily be able to find it from the road. It's about a block or two from D&J's current location.

That's a cool fish.

Thanks stranger!

Yeah BMorgan! When you live in Sacto - that boring, no-mans-land, there has to be a bunch of Fish Stores just so the population doesn't turn on itself!

Voice of experience. :D
