Fishycat's Photo Thread!

I love all of your tanks and the bettas are gorgeous! I think if I didn't have my large tanks, I'd have lots of small betta tanks lol.. I have just one betta in a 2.5g barebottom no decorations. I've been thinking of making it a planted tank. Would I have to take my betta out before I make it planted?
Wow, thanks everybody for the kind words! Molly, you may want to move your betta into a cup temporarily just to avoid stressing him out too much. :eek3: "The sky is falling!!" :eek3: Be sure to rinse your substrate well, especially if you go for sand. If you use a HOB, turn it off so your impeller's not damaged.

Aw, heck I can't stand putting up just one pic! Here's one of Sephy being his usual nutty self, straining to reach that piece of green pea that fell next to the moss-slate! (he eventually hoovered it up, somehow...)

Have you seen that person that does fishy art on their PC? It's great! They made a portrait of a group of angelfish, now theyre doing discus!

Hm, okay so I have some time and so I decided to add more pics to make this a proper update!
My riccia "bog". Usually it's only partly emersed, unless I forget to add more tank water. I'd say it's recovered from it's journey across the country quite well! Thanks again, Happypoet! I actually like the emersed growth, and hope to have a small terrarium-type set up with the riccia as ground cover.
My emersed moneywort growing tall!
My crystal chandelier. Okay, no it's air bubbles (from the filter outflow) caught in the roots of some floating salvinia. I thought it was quite beautiful.
Shrimp! I think it's the only one left. Unfortunately today I saw it wedged into the intake. I turned off the HOB and it wriggled loose, but things can't be going well for the little guy.

Gus is so handsome! I tell ya he's part tiger. What kind of camera do you use? Once I get some cash flow going I'm buying myself another camera and your pics always look great.
