Fishycat's Photo Thread!

Heh, thanks guys, I just spent the last hour and a half trying to ID the thing. ID thread is up in the Planted section. Could be echinodorus quadricostatus but not sure...

Id say thats it but the veining on the leaves of the picture you posted looks to be less than the one you have. however that couldve been due to poor growing conditions :P

Wow, that jar is looking snazzy! I ended up pulling all the hydrocotyle out of my terrariums though. It seems to need a lot more light than I could provide, even in a west facing window, and just bolted up. Not exactly the look I was going for. HC is my new go to lol.

Mine is grumpy because I spoiled it with lots of high light but then changed my set-up and it mostly makes do with afternoon sun. I'll probably end up pulling it and adding more marsilea sp. simply due to the space constraints.

I may do a small update tomorrow as Sunday aka Update Day is going to be very busy for me. Still taking pics, so no lack of material to work with. :p:

Thanks, 67chevelle!

Heck no! I'm going to see Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows today! :woot: And anyway, why would I want to lose one day of my weekend? You crazy??? :banhim:
