So it's Sunday, which usually means update day.
I take pictures of Sephiroth in the 2.5g at work everyday and finally decided he needed more face time! He loves lounging on his plants, and I can't help but reach for my iPhone camera every time. The tank is generally a mess. I was very rushed when planting my dwarf hairgrass, so it's not pretty (not compared to the perfect planting by Callmeconfused!) but it's growing - that's the important part. The baby tears had a rough trip from the East Coast and are growing, but not pretty. The flower pot and anubias nana are pretty nasty looking. Just last week I tried to rub the anubias leaves, which didn't help. I will eventually remove the GSA leaves ... the tiny leaves below seem fine.
I think Gus wants some attention... Actually, this is one of his normal sleeping positions.
Big thanks to Weedcali for the awesome tiger vals, baby sword & aponogeton bulbs! Perfect packaging...
Flash shows the nice deep greens in my (jungle/swampy) tank. The 10g will be getting a rescape, as soon as I can get my mitts on some sand - pool filter, silica, something! I think the TMS has slowly eroded all of my cories' barbels, which I feel horrible about.
Mocha, my dark purple striped brigg. I just love it when the purple color comes through in a photo!
Brigg snails, be they adult or newborns, love green peas & green beans!
A TON of babies...
Out of the breeder net - into the tank!
If you can, please view this image full-sized. Love the electric spots that the flash picked up! This one is a dark-bodied, there are quite a few and are my favorites.
Folks, clean our your breeder net/frame very well! These guys were crammed into the teeny crevices of the plastic frame.
