Eheim, eheim, eheim, eheim all the way. I really like eheims. They are super efficient and thier performance is outstanding. Really quiet too. I like eheims! Did I mention that I like eheims.

Well, I went with the Rena XP2 lastnight, simply because petsmart pricematched it for $76. Should I take it back and go with the XP3 for just a bit more?

As in, you won't have too much filtration, so the more you have the cleaner the water, the more efficient your biological filtration, the healthier your fish are, the more successful the tank. If you go with Fluval go with the 05 line, it is much better than the 04 line. And you might as well go one size up and go with the 405 rather than the 305. The price difference isn't much compared to what you are already using, so you might as well go a little bigger.

Fluval 405. When I have talked to people about the two, I usually hear that the Fluvals are a step up from Renas, and that Fluvals are the way to go if you ar ento enptyign your bank account for an Eheim. I have tons of Fluvals and they are my top pick, they are always what I need. From community, to discus, to big Cichlids. Fluvals get the job done.

Well I will be going from a Top Fin 40/60 side hanging power filter to a Fluval 405 or XP3. Will I see a big difference? Why should I go with the Fluval 405 over the XP3? Please tell me the big differences.
