I take it you don't care for your sister, and wish her all the worst in life.

yeah, sounds like my life. I wish I had buckled down and kept at my school work, I would be a great nurse today.
I find if you keep your kids buisy, I mean into sports, and all kinds of after school stuff there far less distracted to get in trouble. my 13 year old is 5'9 and I always wanted to get her interested in basketball. nope she refused. no sports for her, so I got her involved in " getting involved with teen programs geared for " no drugs, teens for a bright future that kind of stuff. my boys, gee I hope I can get them into all kinds of sports!!

Aren't boyfriend-girlfiend relationships a natural thing that's supposed to happen in life at some point?

My daughter is about to be 14 and her mother doesn't get why I don't want her to date yet. Her mother, very naive and sheltered, is married to a guy who was sheltered as well. Thus, they swing the opposite direction and give my daughter way too much freedom.

On the other hand, I was having sex with my 14 year old girlfriend when I was 17. I'm not proud of it and had I known now, I would have realized what I was taking from her that she could never give to whomever she ended up marrying.

My daughter isn't naive and we've had very open conversations, but since she turned 13 she's rebelled against being close to me and embraces her mother and step father since they let her do whatever she wants with no boundaries.

I think I'll just have to tell any prospective bf's, "I'm not afraid to go back to prison." Even though, I've never even been arrested. LOL
