Decided to take a few in natural daylight before he's in a less portable home...a balcony's okay, but I can't wait to have a back yard again.

Kiba's more interested in the vine than the fish. Anybody need some spider plants?

Sasuke wants a drink. Any standing water is fair game, even my driftwood bucket. My brother used to keep a betta in a vase in his living room...his cat would drink the water all the time and the fish would surface, so the cat was licking him as she drank...I always wondered if the fish had parasites and that made for a good back-scratcher?

It's a lovely curl on a lovely fish

My lemon cucumber is finally in bloom! I'm excited and I can share with the fish...lots of blooms on the rest of the plant, so it should be a good crop :P

Rest assured, the pickle jar lives out of reach of the cats in the off-limits office...I just had it out on the balcony for the pics and all I had to do was poke him to make him run back to his driftwood bucket for a different water source. We also have on of those pet fountains, spent a fortune on it and they would still rather drink out of the bathroom sink. *shrugs*

I took this one later today, and it's not of the fish...but same setting and my kitten is growing up into a handsome cat! It seems like only a couple of months ago he was just a fuzzball at the Humane Society...it happened so fast.

Very pretty betta and kitties!!! It must be the season for spider plants. I have about ten pots myself! :grinyes:

They'll eat the spiders over the cat grass I planted for them any day, and they actually like the older, tougher mother plant (indoors) better than the babies...maybe because it's in a stand and the leaves are dangling, much more fun to play with. I'm just grateful they ignore my cucumbers and tomatoes :P
