im looking to switch to a new brand of fish flakes for my tropicals. im not very satisfied with Nutrafin Max's Tropical Flakes. i've heard that Omega One and New Life Spectrum both make top quality flakes. should i focus on these two or are their others that are worth looking at.

thanks

I recently swapped to Omega One and my fish seem to be happier about it. Their colors are more vibrant and they really go nuts for the food itself.

Well, IMHO, they are both top choice quality foods. I use them both, and all of my fish thrive (check sig.) They are both fresh, have less fillers, and have a variety of offerings for the fish. You can email OmegaOne and quickly receive a personal response to any questions, too. :dive2:

I'm using Omega One flakes and the fish go nuts over it too. Water splashes and everything. The ingredients used are a lot better than most other brands too.

I use aquadines line of fish food. Its only available at the pet store, and not all pet stores have it. It is mixed for your specific fish right there in front of you. My fish love it, and it doesn't create a mess. Its not expensive at all.

water splashed with the current flakes too, not sure if that means good food or good golly im hungry. in any case, better coloring and better quality food is a plus.

i'll keep on the look out for all of these suggestions, thanks.

I reccomend instead of one brand, buy several and mix them all up in the same container. buy some NLS, omega one, ON, and hikari, and mix them up. use that and your fish will love you forever.
