frozen bloodworms came back to life

i believe there is a post about these "BRIGHT LITTLE RED WORMS" every week or so.

I don't ever remember anyone coming up with a definite conclusion.

yes, part of the problem is identifying the worm.
there are also aquatic earthworms as well as species of tubifex. true bloodworms will eventually turn to pupae and drift to the top and emerge as midge flies.
the others will stay ..worms.

The worms in my tank are black worms (though red in color).
