Real Name Ed Jan 14, 2008 #12 yes, part of the problem is identifying the worm. there are also aquatic earthworms as well as species of tubifex. true bloodworms will eventually turn to pupae and drift to the top and emerge as midge flies. the others will stay ..worms.
