 i have this really bad fungus problem(white cottony stuff on the side of my tank) in my tank and the meds i used for it didn't work. any suggestions?

:shark:
thanx

has it affected your fish??? if not, y not just remove the stuff by hand (or scyphin) (sp?)

id suggest feeding the fish less maybe its growing on uneaten food

fungus

i don't think its affected my fish i really can't tell because the sick fish has a really bad case of ich and i'm trying to treat him for that as well. if you remove the fungus by hand do you have to sterilive or clean substrate, filter, airline tubing etc... or just what you see?

what fish are in your tank? where is the fungus (gravel glass ???)? how fast does it grow? water parameters? pictures?

any of this stuff could help us help you

fungus

My tank

29 gallons
3 guppies
1 sailfin molly(sick fish)
aqua-tech filter equipped with bio-filter
4 plastic plants
top fin air pump
100watt aquarium heater

the stuff is all over the glass, gravel, outside of the airline tubing, on the plants, filter, and heater
