German Blue Ram

I am in the process of setting up a 65GL tank with 8 angels. looking to add a German Blue Ram, is it ok?
 
GBR's occupy a different level of the tank than the angels.

with 8 angels you stand a good chance of a pair forming..you will need to be ready to move some fish around in the near future.
 
I asked the same question at our local mom and pop store, they said it would be OK, we're thinking about that kind of stocking for our 45 tall, after the Fry's are out of there,,....:goldfish:
 
I will post some pics when the tank is done.
I have 2 1.5 inch Koi angels, one one inch black, 1 1.5 inch zibra, and one 1.5 inch shadow at this time.
thinking of adding 2 blur rams.

so you have 4 angels?

I wouldnt add anymore and add the GBR's.
what is the tank temp? GBR's like warm water.
 
Are Blue Rams that are sold in LPS usually from local breaders or wild?
Because I read most are color enhanced, and do not last long.
 
depends..ask the owners.
if not look for an online breeder.they are not difficult to breed.

you do realize you will have to move some of those angels.....right?
