10 gallon tanks

If that comment was for me ive gotten 5 10 gallon tanks and a 5.My fish have lived for 4 years..so no im not having a problem here.what about you..Disability keeps me from having larger tanks so i have 10 and 1 20 long and 1 5 gallon easier to take care of one for each day of the week,,hmmm i need 1 more dont i..Sounds like those of us who cannot affor a 100 gallon arent too respected. But do appreciate your sarcastic opinion.

I am sure no personal disrespect was intended, trouble3299. The fact remains, though, that neither a dovii or a severum will live comfortably in a 10 gallon tank for very long. They get far too large. There are plenty of very interesitng fish that can live in a 10 gallon though. Have you looked at the tanganyikan shell dwellers? There is a very interesting article on them in this month's issue of Tropical Fish Hobbyist.

By the way, I believe that comment may have been directed towards finsup, as he is keeping an oscar in a 10 gallon tnak. Can't say for sure though.
