Getting some RCS soon!

I have never seen them newly hatched, but they are visible about a week old, they will be very tiny, like grains of sand and impossible to catch since they go right through the net

I would leave the mom shrimp alone; the shock of being moved could negatively affect her and the babies. The first place I always see babies is on the glass where I don't clean regularly. :)

Some folks believe Anubias can be toxic to shrimp, especially when trimmed in the tank. I have anubias nana in my RCS and Malawa tank without any issues.

There is anubias (pretty sure it is anubias nana) in my brothers RCS tank and the RCS are doing fine as well.

I've been doing some research on Malawa shrimp. They sound just like RCS! Main thing I couldn't find, is do they get to be the same size as RCS?

Yep, they're the same size as RCS.

just my 2 cents, but i've been keeping Blue Tigers in with my RCS and love the combination. with my white substrate it looks quite patriotic!
