Go VOTE!!

The thing that ticks me off is all the amendments and measures that try to sneak through. Alot of voters are just not informed on these subjects and are essentially voting blind. I've just spent the morning checking out everything that appears on the ballot. Got my 'cheat sheet' ready to go. lol I will not be voting blind!!

Way to inform yourself Chickie!! An uninformed voter is almost worse than not voting at all!! I will be glued to the tv tonight, watching Fox News......

Just be aware that Fox News is not exactly known for it's fairness in reporting, as it tends to give most of it's time and attention to conservative Republican ideologies...

Which is why when anybody asks if I saw this or that in the local newspaper, I can answer NO without having to hear what the whole question is. I can't believe how far off center this paper is.

The media is supposed to report the news, not make the news, not influence the news. Just report it. They seem to have forgotten that.

And to stay on topic, yes, by all means, vote. Some of us put a lot on the line to keep that right for us all.... Let's not waste that.

After 7 years of being stationed in Germany, plus 1 year in Bosnia and 1 year in Iraq, I always go to the polls. The absentee ballots don't get counted unless there is any possible chance of it would change the outcome. Eventually they get counted for statistical purposes. But I want MY vote in the orginal count. I'm done with absentee.

Though waiting 2-1/2 hours because the stupid voting machines don't work isn't fun. I worked as a computer pro for decades and even I don't trust the dang things. Last election I hit the square for candidate "A" and the choice for candidate "B" was picked. The machine wouldn't let me correct that and I had to have a poll worker clear the machine and move me to a different one. I think a lot of people wouldn't have noticed that the machine ignored their vote.

At least it looks like the "good" Ohio smoking ban passed and the fake "smoking ban" sponsored by the tobacco companies failed.
