I'll tell you what they were thinking- "Hmm, were tired of all this republican BS, maybe we should do something about it..."- We're taking back Congress!!!!!!!

What Republican BS? Interestingly enough many of the Democrats that were elected are more conservative than the Republicans they were running against. I'm not sure this will have the effect that the Democrats think it will.

our governer is a democrat....
but my district's rep. is still Republican!!!! YES

long story short, i met her in DC and her intern gave us a tour of the Capitol Building(that was 2 years ago), and during our homecoming parade this year she was there and she remebered me and my family it was so cool.
 
Although this has stayed relatively civil Im closeing it because,
1. Its is turning into a republican/ democrat thread
2. It has gone way off topic from going out to vote
3. As a rule we dont allow political threads in General Chit Chat. At one time they did but it could never stay civil and people where really getting offended so we long ago that its better that they be carried out some where more appropriately than a fish
With everything going on politicly we decided to let this ride but I have a feeling it isnt going to be kept civil so I will close it before it gets bad.
