Ah, thank you. I actually don't mind those. At least with that I'm not guessing colors, just making slashes on a piece of paper. lol
Find a woman that has 4 types of cones in the eye rather than 3 like 99.9% of humans. The fourth cone gives them much greater color perception. I'm married to one and she can tell color differences very well... she's also a trained artist.
That's all I got.
Ha! I do the same thing. I never feel good about it though.I also have the red sea test kit and the ammonia test is hard for me to read. Depending on the amount of light and the angle at which I hold the test tube, I either see yellow or a hint a green...big difference of 0.0 ammonia vs. 0.25.
I laughed reading your original post, I can totally relate to the frustration of trying to get valid readings, I've taken to splitting the difference quite often, ever do that?
And, THIS IS MY FIRST POST. Glad I found this forum, I need all the help I can get.![]()
I use the API test for calcium and phosphate. It takes me 23 or 24 to changemy calcium test takes about 22 drops to turn for 440, what kit are you using?
And to the OP, the saltwater adn the reef kits have the same tests in them one just has more I think, so don't waste your money buying a whole set of the same thing. just buy new ones of the ones you need or whatever
