Goldfish laid eggs - with photos, etc.

It's about time I updated this thread. The little ones have grown so huge.
Both Sparkplug and Sprocket are larger than the little watonai (whom I have named Wrench) now! Growing like weeds... well, growing like goldfish!
They are each three inches long now, and keep up handily with the adults. Sprocket has colored up like his parents - orange with white tipped fins, and little Sparkplug is a slightly more yellow color. All his markings have stayed in the same place they are in the photos, but are much more intense now. He's beginning to outgrow his straight-backed, fat-belly look and has a more adult shape coming in. That right eye is still bright blue, very pretty.

I shot a few no-flash photos today as I was doing some planting in the other tank. Gives you an idea of their growth though. I'll do a proper photo shoot soon.

I cannot believe how big they are! They have lost that "baby" look. They are really really lovely. Congrats!

Yeah, they're pretty much large enough to be considered juveniles and not babies at this point. I think this is the end of my updating this thread, at least until they're a year or more old. It would be nice to cap it all off with adult photos.
Now to transform this rambling mess into a usable article...

they are so beautiful! and poor little fender, he was gorgeous! Even from the pics of him as a baby! would have loved to see what he looked like a few inches long...
they are some lucky fish!
