Goldfish laid eggs - with photos, etc.

Just wanted to say the babies are doing fine, I will post pictures of them in two weeks there all still alive all them, so far my goldfish are still in heat and still having babies but because I don't have enough room in the babies fish tank I had to allow the parents to eat the eggs.
I still have my breading net and when I move I will get a larger tank for them, so I will not have a issue with my goldfish having babies.

I joined AC to get help for my 6 month old calico comet shubunkin and you seem to be an expert on goldies, so maybe you could help me out? I read that keeping a goldie in a glass goldfish bowl is cruel.. my shubunkin is no more than 2 inches long and seems to be fine in his one-gallon bowl. I take him/her out once a week to do a thorough wipe down of the tank and gravel- would it be more humane to give him/her a new home with a classy tank? any help would be fab.

I thought I would update this thread again with the most recent photos of the two babies.
First Sprocket, who is now living with Kashta in Las Vegas. (As is mom, Alexei!) He's going to be a very BIG goldfish, and very handsome. He ended up with excellent conformation, a thick body and long flowing fins. He has a bit of a big nose, with wide-set eyes as you can see in the second photo, but I think he turned out very well.
And then Sparkplug, who will be going to live with Kashta very soon! Sparkplug lost that bright lemon yellow color and developed into a nice matt orange with the occasional metallic scale. He kept the one blue eye and one black eye - very charming. His belly is a little rounder than standard - sort of a subtle swaybacked look. I think he's as handsome as his brother, even though they don't look much alike other than the color scheme! Goes to show what different males can produce from the same female.
