I think you'll be fine with 2 comets in 100L for some time, as long as you keep up on water changes and feed lightly with a quality pellet food. I'd love to have a goldfish/koi pond, we just have too many critters and birds of pray given we're surrounded by woods.

We're in town, but there are a lot of beasties. It's going under a canopy with a net over the top, since we have very very occasionally seen herons. It'll be enclosed on two sides, and a roof, half fence on a third side and fully open on the front! Lots of prep, but it'll be worth it. It's the last section of the garden to be finished, and I can't wait!
