Okie dokes. I plan on eventually buying the API complete liquid test kit, but for now I'm going to have to go to petsmart for analysis. I'll take it in 1 week after I start and see how it's going. I'm unboxing the kit now and interestingly enough it comes with a penguin 150 filter, even though the box and all descriptions say it's supposed to have a penguin 100. Rated for a 30 gallon tank, I've read you can never have too much filtration but do you think that would be a problem for the little tetras? Don't want them getting sucked up or constantly having to fight current :xIt claims to have bacteria, although I'm not sure I would trust it to have the correct types...granted in a fishLESS cycle there isn't much to lose. You should try it out and keep us updated with the progress to see if it makes a difference or not.
