You could put dwarf crays in the tank. I would definitely not put any full sized crayfish into a hex-shaped tank as there is not enough room for them. I would go with Cambarellus species either CPO's or shufeldtii's. They don't bother corries.

Red claw shrimp! I have about 15 red claws in my 75 gallon with an angel, who doesn't touch them unless they just have babies then it's snack time. they are in a tank with endlers, corys, some kind of small orange cichlid, and some weird glow in the dark fish.

You could always try some small shrimp like ghost shrimp, they're super cheap (usually $0.30 at my Petsmart). I have a whole bunch in with my angel and he doesn't bother them, although one once fought him for a piece of food! The angelfish got the food, but the shrimp was unharmed. Anyway, it would be a low-stakes way to see if you could keep smaller shrimp in with your angels, which would open up a lot of possibilities and you wouldn't have to worry about shrimp being big enough to catch your fish! Just make sure you have plenty of cover for them to hide under.

What eveuh said :) That's a great way to try out inverts in the tank. I still have the original batch of ghost/grass shrimp (first inverts I added to my tanks) in my 29g with all my fish and they're thriving.

Sounds great! Ill have to experiment soon... I just went and bought some bulbs for my lighting retrofit so I can get some live plants. So maybe after the live plants create some cover I can get the shrimp.

Thanks again

Bamboo shrimp can be shy especially if they get picked at, they need lots of water movement. They don't have claws, only "fans" to filter the water for food.
Nerites are your best bet, google some pics of them. They don't let their antennae out so they are much less likely to get pecked at.
