Goodbye, Navy!

Congrats!

(and just for the typical banter, those tubers are always whiners) :grinyes:

Congratulations and good luck in your future. What a small world, my son Chris had also been at New London/Groton sub base from 2000-2008. He joined the Navy in 2000 and also is a sonar tech (previously on the USS Augusta). He is now a First Class and has been transferred to DC for a very intensive 2 year training program for top secret acustic (sp?) intelligence. (he can't give me details!) He will be a lifer (well, at least his 20 yrs) in the service and he absolutely LOVES his job.
I am so proud of my boys (2 in the service ) and all of our young men and women who serve.
Thank you for your service and good luck to you in your future! :headbang2:

Also, I am very happy that your illness was misdiagnosed, although it must have been very stressful in the meantime. Darn Navy doctors!!!

Great story :) Glad you turned out okay.

thanks guys! :D looking forward to what the future holds.. (and the secret is a part of that ;)) still looking for a job... for the record, i hate resumes! ;)
