Got the new tank set up

Is that a stomalla snail in the third and fourth picture? lol its a familiar site that I see in my 24G.

You mean the thing on the glass in the corner?
I have no idea what it is, 2 of them showed up on our live rock just recently.
It's like a snail with no shell, kind of reminded me of a sea cucumber or something too when you look at it up close.
I'll wait for someone to tell me it's bad for a reef tank.... since there is no way to find them (or remove them) without tearing the tank completely apart. :wall:

Sorry, but you are right. They are also known as vampire snails. They use their hollow teeth to suck the blood from fish. Even their owners.

Just kidding! They are harmless snails called Stomatella (this time spelled correctly). At first they were ugly to me, but they seem to get cuter as time goes on because you grow fonder of them. They do a great job cleaning and can really move fast for a snail.
