Gotta love ATT...

LOL ;) I would have definitely just called, myself...I'm fairly certain no one at any of these companies really gives a rat's petootie about any of us. There's no such thing as human followup anymore, at least not for "regular" people. I wonder what celebrities do? Make their assistants endure this BS?

Never trust a username whose initals are LG...

HEY!!! :rant2:

LMAO, I actually had to look twice when I first opened this....I was like when did I chat with Bob O!?! Then I realized the "Lucky" not Lady:D

I'm with att right now and my contract is up in feb (thank the good lord), can't wait to get back to a no contract service, people can say what they want about it, but for me it's the best way to go hands down.

I will not dispute the level of inanity displayed above lol. But, I've had ATT for almost 6 years (its not much of a choice...we live in the boondocks and its the only service that gets reception at our house) and haven't really had much to complain about. I've had to call for service only once or twice, generally I just stop in the local storefront and deal with someone directly, I've found that to be the easiest way to get things done.

I've had AT&T for at least 10 years.....since I had a "bag phone" in the car. I also live in the boondocks and because of the valleys and mountains, AT&T has perfect service and verizon has none. Whenever my boys were with their friends, the friends mothers called my boys on AT&T because their kids had no cell service. I've had very few issues myself. I also handle the Premier account for about 20 phones at work. Ported most of them from Verizon. Until just about a year ago, I had a business account rep that would set up my new accounts, port phones, order phones....whatever I asked....and it was mostly done via email with him. Piece of cake! Not anymore. Now I have to go on line and do everything myself. It's been very frustrating many times. There's a guy who works for my account rep that's been terrific. And I have to say, he agrees that the AT&T online customer service is awful. Now if I encounter a problem on the Premier site, I call premier customer care and I have to say, that 100% of the time they have been terrific. I wonder how verizon's customer care is? But in any case, I'm not switching providers.

I've had AT&T for 10+ years....no complaints with the service, although I've also had to deal with a couple of clueless service reps. You want to talk to some real goofs, though, try calling the cable company. :thud:

Just curious... how come we can rip on AT&T here, but if I were to post a similar exchange with a Petsmart employee, the thread would be immediately mod-cleansed of any company names, and replaced with "Big Box Pet Store"? :grinyes:

Just wondering.
