gourami still aggressive

Dwarf gouramis are fine for a 10 gallon. Tiny honey gouramis are the best bet. ALL male gouramis are aggressive in my experience except maybe pearl and moonlight gouramis. They are related to bettas and will fight like bettas. There is nothing you can do except keep it at one male. Your tank is too small fro pearl gouramis.

I agree with RyJ. A lot of the more common posters on here seem to think they are fish gurus in every aspect of the hobby and come off as very condescending to you younger posters. IF you are a dork at a computer all day and think you know everything, then fine, leave you advice but don't jump on everyone's back.

This is comming from someone who can't even spell gourami right? Most of us here know more than you ever will. Talk about condescending, you just did exactly that by comming down on the senior posters here like we're losers who sit at the computer all day. Not a very smart way to start off on this board there pal.

If I were you I would put him back in, see if it reoccurs, and if so take him out and put him in a fish bowl or something. Also, consider buying a bigger tank, but I think you could at least keep the gourami till he gets to big, I have a 10g and did the same (w/out the betta) and I just gave him to a friend when he got big. Good luck! :)

Come on--do we really want to start the week out this way?

The dates on the post indicate that the 'troublesome' posts are almost a month old. The post was brought back up to update us on the condition of the fish, which is appreciated. Let's not get back into 'other' issues once they've subsided.
