greech's Simple 40 Breeder

About the only corals I would be willing to cut at his point are the eagle eye zoas (yellow and orange) and I could break off a branch of the hawkins. I want my LPS to grow out to at least min-colony size before I cut them. I will be happy to send you some frags down the road if you want to cover shipping.

The scenery was quite distracting by the way. Good thing we have replay in the stands ;).

I bet that was tough ticket to get! Living in Phoenix I have to wait for visiting teams to come as I don't like ASU at all... PAC 12 schools... yuck. Nor do I like the Cardinals... lol. I have two brothers that live hear and they both are ASU grads so I wear my USC stuff to the games... lol. I was born in Columbus, GA and always watched Bama when I was a kid... haven't been back there in a long time.

Well, when some of your LPS grow out and you need to cut them then I would love to have some and would pay for shipping.

Cheers!

I could cut a decent branch off the hawkins but that alone wouldn't be worth the shipping. The only problem I have with cutting the fleshier LPS is I don't have a band saw. My LFS will let me use theirs so I would need to take the corals there to get them cut. Its a good store and they have cut things for me before. Just need them to grow out a bit more.

Very few tickets were for sale. Most scalp tickets were $150 upper endzone and it just went up from there. Some friends of mine went to the ASU v. Georgia game a couple years back in Tempe and they said the fans there were the worst they have ever been around. That's saying something too because UGA plays Florida every year :).

I used to live in Pheonix, not real thrilled with the general attitude of the football fans there. Not to be descriminatory I know we have members that live there. My statement is a generalization. I do know there are exceptions in everything. I have a bit of an attitude myself when it comes to my teams. Guess that is football.

UGH, just lost my cleaner shrimp to my wrasse! This fish is a PIG!!! I kissed feeding yesterday because I got home late and after lights out. Did my water change today and was going to feed the tank when I say the wrasse swimming around with 1/2 my shrimp. Had that guy for 2+ years :(.

Soon as I can find a fish trap that fits in my tank that wrasse is gone!

bummer man. good luck hunting.

Nope. Thats gonna be an end of the year/first of next type thing. I was looking at a 2 x 65W Cree dimmable fixtures for $250/each but the problem is they are only manually dimmable. There are so many LEDs coming on the market. I just don't think its the right time to buy. Prices are coming down some. The Aqua Illumination Sol fixtures just dropped $100 and I would only need one of those. I think/hope we'll see another price drop in the next 6 months. The functionality on new fixtures like the new AI Phoenix and Ecotech Radion are helping to lower the price of the more basic LEDs. I also just saw the new Kesil fixture and man that thing is sweet!

I caught my melenarus today! I tried a fish trap twice and had no luck. Finally I thought I could probably spook him into the sand because its such a twitchy fish. Sure enough, as soon as the net went in the tank, it dove under. Scooped him right out! Took him to the LFS and got a bag of salt, some snails (because the wrasse ate them all :)), a Kryptonite green candy cane frag and a porcelain crab. I know I swore I would never add a crab to my tank but these guys are very cool and they are filter feeders so I don't have to worry about it nipping at anything. Its parked right under my rock flower nem which I fully expect it to be hosted by. I also bought a new favia frag. LFS called it a Ghostbuster favia. Never heard the name but it's a pretty sick favia. I'll get some pics up tomorrow. Lights are out.

I don't know. Been considering a pair smaller fish like neon gobies.

So, what's up with you? Are you stickin' with it?
