Is there a nutrient level in the tank that green spot algae can not grow in? My Phosphate stay around 2.0 but it still comes back. Should I maybe go higher or is there something else I can do to prevent it from coming back?

lighting??? or lower your ferts.

In my experience, sunlight brings on GDA, but high light over low light plants brings on GSA.

What plant(s) is it on? I usually have it pop up on anubias and crypts.

All the plants have green spot algae..

Is my lighting just to much for even the faster growing plants?

I think if I hang my light from the ceiling to lower my light level, this might help eliminating the growth of this problem, what do you think?
I was using a higher dose of PO4 in the past, but I still had the same problem.

Well, assuming you've got your co2 maxed out, I whole-heartedly recommend reducing your photoperiod or elevating your lights...anything to reduce your lighting.

Are you able to stagger your bulbs? If you want an 8-9 hour photoperiod, maybe only use have your lights for that time, and only turn on the other half or 2-3 hours at some point.

I've dropped most of my tanks down to 2 wpg for most of the day, and only bump up my light to 3.5-4wpg for 2 hours or so. I'm algae free.
