Grins' 55g Reef

Cool Rici.. And you are going to love the Koralia's, but even in my 75 I found placement was key. When I finally found the right position so it was doing what I wanted but not blowing substrate everywhere..

About the only thing I don't like about them is the suction cup.. I had a hard time breaking the seal when I was trying to move it around to find the right spot.

The magnets and suction are very strong huh? I'm not worried about them falling one bit. I think we've found a good place for them but the ones I have are used so from that first batch with the uncovered impellor. I'm going to mod them with some gutter guard I think.

Picked up a few things this week. Some pink zoas (no pics), a pink birdsnest, an orange monti cap, and best of all a blue linkia

did you do your research on the star?

they're supposed to need sone specialized care.

you'll have to keep me posted on it's eating routine and how much stuff it knocks over...i'd be really interested. :)

Really nice additions, I will be interested to see how you like the linka over time - care, etc.

Beautiful ... and again I am jealous..!!! ;)

i love formias and especialy linkias. perhaps one day ill have a tank big enough for one. i probalby could have done a formia in my 40, lord knows i had lots of live rock, but i didnt want to risk it cause most of it was piled under more live rock. oh well. we shall see what the future has in store.
and it looks like that birdsnest is goign to color up nicely :)
