I now have 30 baby guppies in a 10g tank. (In floating container) Should I put them in there own tank or just go like in the wild and let them go in the tank with the rest of the adults???? Will they get eaten???
pikwik said:The baby guppies are all in the 1g tank now. There are around 20 or so left...very hard to count. They seem to be doing fine. The 1g tank we bought about 6 months ago when we had babies the first time. It has been runnig every since. All the levels(ex.nitrites) are great. We raised the 1 surviving baby from the first round in this tank just fine. Now its a beautiful female in our 10g tank. The first bunch of babies kinda got screwed as we just bought the 1g tank and threw them in it, not knowing about the cycling part of fish tanks. Hopefully we will have a few more survive and grow into adults this time. I will keep you all posted on how they are doing!!! Now I just have to get the nitrite level down in my 70g......I still can't believe my fish are still alive in this tank????
