yeah 20 sounds nice there is alot of room and guppys are tiny i know in asia they just keep them in clay pots like 100-150 in a big pot they are like mold they grow fast and are hard to kill and im not fond of a 10 gallon thats why its just going to be guppys i just want to slap it to gether and let it be

Do not belive this, this actually really bad and this is the reason why we have poor quality guppies here in the Trade today.
I would think 5-7 would be a nice number 2 males 5 females. I also recommend doing weekly water changes, atleast 30-40%. This will help them become healthier and will breed for you. I prefer keeping them with live plants, be it hornwort, java moss and java fern in my tanks.

But since you are going will all male, they will pester and chase each other but keeping atleast 7 in this tank.

But if you want the colors keep up with the water changes and feeding a variety of foods, live, flake, normal and algae. These guys need their greens.

i changed my mind im gonna stick my female krib and get a male shees needs to get outta my 40 gallon shes beats on the other fish so i cant add anything to my 40 so shes on here way out as soon as i see matching water parimiters shes moving

Oh, that was a pointless thread.

Unless you accidentally put some Dawn dishwashing detergent in the water you're about to put in your tank. We found that out yesterday when we were doing tanks. Wife(who had a majormigraine) was getting water and grabbed the Dawn instead of Stress Coat.

We did a major partial(couple, actually) and loaded up with charcoal and new filters pads. We lost every guppy except 1(real tiny baby). All of the bottom feeders did not seem to suffer as we lost none.

I thought you were being sarcastic. If you're not, you definitely need to do some reading on fish care.

no now i can add 15-20 guppies to my 40 gallon now that the fearless fin nipper is'nt in it

scratch that guppies are going in to the 10 gallon i traded the petstore my aggessive krib for a nice one and got some giant danios for my 40 gallon

I personally would not go with more than 5 male guppies...

Whoever say more than 10 guppies in a 10g does need to do some more research.
