Actually its not. That is to heavy of a bio load for those fish. I have been raising guppies for about 30 years and from my experience its best to keep 5-7 in a 10 gallon. 7 is pushing the limits but with water changes twice a week, at 30% then you would be fine.
Also I would not discount Pumaward, she knows her stuff.

10 will be fine but thank you for your commanets

i've had them sucked into my filter before and when i went to clean the filter and i dumped the water out i found 10 baby's in the filter and somehow they were still alive i dumped them into a smaller tank and 6 of them made it

i had that happen with these half platty half balloon molly fry got sucked in to my aquaclear 150 filter and i went to clean it found 7 in there lived tell they got out of the fry cage and the red eye tetra had a snack

I have a 10 set up because my son wanted guppies. They are breeding, I'd say there's about ten adults/juvenile plus fry. At this level the water quality remains ok w/ biweekly changes. My other tanks get nighttime "snacks" when my son's sleeping to hold the population down.

i have about 20 or so in a 10 g tank they r doing good plus just last we i had fy i got 5 baby fry the rest i think got sucked in to the filter. but that is all taken care of so i don;t lose any more baby fry.i got a few prago ones in there hopefully soon they have thier fry.

I use a piece of foam, Aquaclear filter blocks, over the intake to keep out the fry and the fish often "graze" on the debris here. Rinse the block each week and replace, reduces the load on the actual filter as well.

I have 11 guppies in a 10 gallon. it started out with 4 in a 2 old day setup. the 4 guppies had fry and the adults all died 3 fry lived to adult, out of those 3 i had 1 male and 2 female. hey had fry i counted 10 baby's and only the female adults died. the male lived and out of all the fry 10 of them are at adult size now. so with the male that lived and 10 baby's it makes 11. but i was just looking in the tank and it looks like all male fish.. they all have the fancey tails. oh by the way i just did a water change last week and before that it was 6 months since the last one. and the fish are very healthy

A betta in a 1g bowl is NOT okay. Bettas, like all other tropical fish, require heated and filtered tanks. IMO, a betta kept in anything less than a 2.5g is borderline, if not cruel... anything under 2gs, definately is cruel, IMO.

If you don't care about what other people have to say when you ask for advice, why don't you just stuff your tanks with whatever your want and skip the asking part?

Even the inch per gallon myth wouldn't provide an excuse for this nonsense.

tricksterpup is basically the livebearer expert on this forum, I would follow his advice.
