Hard at work

That's not the problem--the problem is that I'd have to send it back to Gateway for repairs, and since I'm working remotely, without the laptop and it's software, I can't work. No easy way to get a spare, no desktop to work from instead, and even if IT would mail me a spare, the spare laptops are crappy. Totally crappy. Completely inadequate for the work I'm doing. So, it means I just don't get to run wireless, which really isn't a big deal. :) If I could work wirelessly, I would end up sitting outside all day, and get a ferocious sunburn, I'm sure.

Deb--does Sixx have more weird behaviors than your average cat? Magpie has more personality than any one cat should!

Well....she DOES have six toes on each foot (original name, huh?lol)and I've seen her pick up kibbles with her hands. That's about the extent of her talents...other than having to lay exactly where I need to work, spilling my water all over my desk...and somehow, making it all MY fault!!! lol

I thought that's what cats did best--mine does, anyway!! And he LOVES to try to run his tail through my mouth whilst I sit here on the sofa with the laptop (wifi capable, but I don't even have DSL!!! LOL :o )

Maggie is probably one of the smartest cats I've owned. She does problem solving. Her version of fetch is more complicated than just throwing a toy for her to bring back--it has to be hard for her to get. If you just toss it down the hall, she won't bring it back to you. She wants to have to work for it--her current favorite it to have it thrown into a partially closed box on top of our computer armoire. She opens drawers, knows the difference between her different toys (yes, you can tell her to get her pink mouse, and she brings the pink mouse. Not the blue mouse, not the pink ball). She's pretty impressive. And noisy--talks all the time!
