Can anyone recommend what kind/power heater to get for my tank which has about 90L (24 gallons) of water and I need to increase the temperature by 5 degrees celcius (about 10 degrees fahrenheit)? Thanks! ;)

I'd get an Ebo Jager 100w heater. They're available online in the US for about $17US plus shipping. Tronic heaters are also a good brand.

I think the Jäger heaters are the best in the world, they never failed me and I have several of them submersed since... forever.

Their precision scale 64-93 °F (18-34 °C) and accurate temperature control with variation of ½ degree F holding temperature puts them in a class of their own.

Think about it, choose the original!

a 100w ebo jager heater would be a good heater for a 24 gal tank

Yea, either a 100 watt tronic or ebo jager will be a good choice, they are the two best heaters on the market.

NJ:

I would agree with the Jager statement. But not the tronic.

The tronics are the best heater that Hagen make and offer but....

The Rena Excel series, as well as the Via Aqua titanium heater series IMO are much better heaters in numerous ways than the tronic.

On the other end of the spectrum. Stay away from the Marineland heaters. They are junk. They have the dubious distinction of being the most returned heater in the entire Big Al's Chain. They stink.

They crack, fall apart, fry fish. YUCK!
