those hedgehogs are awesome as well as that new enclosure.
i've wanted a pet squirrel but i dont think that's legal since they're wild animals.

Feed the squirrels plenty of peanuts on a regular basis and you won't be able to keep them away--they'll even eat from your hand!

They are so cute! I used to volunteer at the local humane society and we got in a few hedgies, very cute little critters!

They're sweet! It might interest this group to also know that in some Indonesian countries, they keep cats at the local zoos! Yes... standard house cats like we are used to for pets here in the US and UK.

Awww... those poor cat-deprived people. I can't imagine life without a cat.:grinyes:

I will be building a new enclosure for these guys. The one that they came with is a little too small. I'm going to custom make is from those mesh storage cubes that you can buy at places like walmart and target, and the bottom will be coroplast (type of plastic).

I've seen habitrail-like things for ferrets. How would something like that be for them? :idea:

Unfortunately, I don't think this would work for a ferret given the fast that ferrets are the octopus of the mammal world (can squeeze through anything). I think the bars are a little too far apart. Also, you would have to figure out a way to fashion some sort of lid. This design is more suited to non climbing animals like hedgies and guinea pigs.

yeah i've love ferrets since Beastmaster.
no squirrels near my house. i used to just pass the time on campus by watching them.
oh and any small predatory birds for pigeon control would be awesome but those birds eat a lot of meat.

come on clanlan, start building a nice two story with a swimming pool on the roof.
