It looks like it will give off some nice color but from the specs I read it just won't be enough for corals. Maybe a few mushrooms but I would think that would be best case. The tank looks good with the low profile light though.

looks pretty bright to me.

I actually broke down returned the light and bought one of the t5 ones hehe..I really want to keep this set up but was taking a peak at the 29gal biocube while there what do you guys think is a better idea? They told me I could bring it all back and swap to that if i wanted to. My stealth heater they gave me only came with one suction cup to grr. Im telling ya I pretty much live there now lol.

I know what you mean. Personnaly I am not a big fan of the all-in-one tanks simply because you are sort of locked in to what you have. Yes you can modify them to a degree but I prefer buying individual components. I had an aquapod but now have a 40 breeder and would not go back. The AIO tank can be a little easier to get started but I think you will be happier with what you have now in the long run. The biocube also comes with PC fluorescents as opposed to T5's. What type of fixture so you get?

i wouldnt get a biocube. Stick with the one u have.

I bought this badboy!

The guy there told me he had a 90 gallon with these one them and the higher end ones above it. He said he now swears by them that the half the tank they have these one the fish swim to them vs his other ones. Plus the cost of bulbs are 1/3 of the cost to replace which is a plus. that he pays 300 dollars every year to change his current ones.

hmmm. K
