Help!!! Bubble Eye Goldfish Convulsions!!!

Take the pic, load it to your comp, then go to www.photobucket.com and upload it there. Then when you post here, click on the little yellow box up there with the mountain on it and copy the url from photo bucket and put it in that box that pops up. then click on preview post to see if it shows. the pic will look like this
 
Oh man, that is really bad. Poor fishy. I have never had goldfish, so I really cant tell ya what to do on that one. You might try to post in the coldwater forum to see if anyone knows what to do about that. There are probably more goldfish people in there. Good luck with the guy though. I'm glad you figured out how to post pics b/c they can be very helpful to people who are trying to help you. Sorry I couldnt be of more help. :huh:
 
OK, I Googled it and this is what I found:

"While bubble eyes are as inexpensive and easy to find as other fancy varieties, they are not recommended for beginning fish keepers because their delicate eyesacs can easily be damaged by rough or sharp surfaces, or by the filter intakes. A bubble eye should never be kept in a tank with anything abrasive, such as most rocks. Should the eyesac become punctured, it is important to keep the water especially clean, or use a topical product like Melafix to stop the puncture from becoming infected. A punctured sac will eventually heal and grow back although it is almost always scarred or misshapen after healing."
