Help Fin Rot and Gill Flakes..and TAIL ROT

Are you sure the fungus is a true fungus and not bacterial such as columnaris? I would double check before treating with something that is not effective.

Fin rot is easily cured with clean water (knowing exact parameters would be beneficial). Mela/pimafix are unnecessary IME but some people swear by it.

What makes you think gill flukes as well?

on friday i will have a wash out on my sh tank..imma get a clearer picture on the fungus on his body

Fungus would be obvious on a photo even of that quality - fungus causes a fish to go furry, and we're talking threads an inch long or more. It's also fairly rare.

I would think your parameters are off due to all that live food he's getting. I'm betting it's pretty messy when he eats. Now I don't know a lot about this type of fish but why not feed pellets along with the other food? Are the gold fish gut loaded? He may not be getting all the nutrition he needs. I would add in some insects, blood worms and earth worms. I would cut back on the mice and feed more of what's listed instead. Then just save the mice for a treat. I think it would help some of your water problems in the long run.

This site should be able to help you more:
