Help me setup my First SW tank!

Here is the nudi-branch thingy, this is what it looked like a few weeks ago.

now it looks like this, it has developed a sort of shell, and likes to crawl up on the skimmer so it is sorta out of the water.

My red anemone - I know, the tank is too small for an anemone, but I was told this one stays small and is easy to care for. I've had it for about 3 weeks now with no problems. I've already had the anemone chat on this site, and I don't want it again.

If at all possible use R/O water,You do not have to buy a R/O unit.If there is a LFS close buy you can buy it from them.A five gallon jug will last you a while with a 10g.If you decide not to,be ready for lots of hair algae.

ricsreef, we already had this discussion earlier in the thread, the "tap water filter" produces deionized water, completely pure. and I have had no problems with it or the water it produces. hauling jugs of water up to my apartment isn't my idea of fun. I am happy with my current setup.
 
DI water is a bit different but as you've said you've had the conversation so I'll skip over some of the algae. ;-)

The unidentified "nudibranch" you mentioned is a stomatella snail and they are beneficial. Your coral beauty looks beautiful.
 
darn, now I have to stop saying I have a nudibranch. that always gets funny looks from non-fish keepers!
