Help, my hamster escaped!

I lost a gerbil one time. Found him in a mouse trap in the hot water heater closet...

I do the peanut butter thing sprinkled with his food inside his cage on the floor. He'll head "home" when he gets hungry enough...

my sister has a bunch of rats and used to have hamsters..everytime one escaped we'd make a trap and use peanut butter..always worked

i got the ultimate bait combo.. peanut butter on a cracker .. bait you jar trap and the cage.. and put one piece out in the open when your waiting for him.her at night... that seem like a surefire plan :]....




now i want some peanutbutter crackers :dance2:

Tried the pb in the traps.... no luck. I'll try a more proactive approach today and actually do a real search... aww, man, I'm bummed...

you could try going into the room he escaped in at night with a flashlight..and if you live in a building..maybe put a few posters up..i've had a few snakes and lizards escape and end up in other peoples apartments..lol
