Althea is prettier as that fish.. keep practicing. Or get a weather loach, and do all of those tricks the next day, but it wouldn't be special;)

Only my newest bottles have not rubbed off the expiration dates. 8/2023. So that singles out that. Ugh.

Yeah, the API liquid tests can be a little finicky. If I get a weird reading, I'll shake the heck out of the bottle(s), use a clean, dry test tube, give that test tube a quick rinse in the tank water I'm testing, then repeat the test.

In regards to the weather/dojo loach? I know they're banned in my state (NY). They're on the invasive species list. I looked into getting one and couldn't because of this. Don't know anyone with them locally.

That's a shame. They're like the perfect pet fish.

I hear you! Couldn't find them at any of my LFS. Asked about them, then had one of my LFS try to get some on order. He called me that day with the news that he couldn't legally get them.

Update on Rasboras: As you guys know I have been doing daily WC's, pH is down to 7.6, still dosing w Melafix daily. (Believe Monday is last dose.) So I get up and 3 of my remaining 5 Rasboras have white mouths and one has a white spot on fin. What to do now? Columnaris or Fin Rot or ? They're all acting fine, eating, not isolating (yet) I'm torn bt ordering some Kanaplex and Furan2 (which wouldn't be here until Monday) or picking up a fungal med ar local Petsmart? I just hate to keep losing these little guys. OR just stay the course w daily WC's and less feeding? I'm torn.

When did you start with the Melafix? It does not work very fast. When they are acting and eating fine I wouldn't be concerned right now, wait another couple of days see how they are doing. Good pictures by the way, I know it is hard to do without professional equipment.

I was actually able to get some much better pics, and yes!! It is tough, especially with the fast little guys to get any kind of quality pics. I started the Melafix on Monday. I did just do a 25% WC and added AC before I had a chance to get on here to read your comment.

I also made it to PS and picked up API Fungus Cure (Active Ing Victoria Green and Acriflavine) and API Fin and Body Cure (Active Ing Doxy). Let me just upload the pics and see if your still thinking wait on the TX.
