Help on my starting fish tank.

Sounds like a fungus, I think that making a separate thread with an emergency sign by it should get some good people to help you. List the tank size, the type of fish and the fact that you can't decipher the test kits(we've all had this problem). Try to keep the water as pristine as possible and raising the temperature to a max of 86 degrees over 6 hours in the mean time(if someone tells you otherwise, there are more experienced people in regards to fish illness on this forum than I am, so I would accept their advice over mine.) Please mention that it came from a pond, as the pond may need to be treated as well. You can keep the water pristine with large water changes every day and a gravel vaccum.

I don't think you can keep even one feeder in a 30 gallon, they are very active. I understand keeping them in there for the time being, but please make sure to move them once they seem to be getting cramped, as when a fish is stunted they stop growing but their internal organs don't. If its actual is the 100G pond, then I applaud you for having a nice fish home :). Good luck, and I hope this is helpful!

If you plan on keeping anything in the 30 gal after this, remember to sterilize all equipment with a 2% bleach solution. There are also other threads on sterilization.
