HELP!!!! WHATS WRONG?

If it were me I'd up your water changes to about 50% daily until you got your nitrites to 0. I'd then reconsider your stock in the 90g. Once all of those fish reach their mature size (I hope that they're all juveniles) there won't be room to swim in there.

I change water every week, but have been doing it every couple of days now because one of my Oscars is getting HITH. I do a 25% water change.

As far as I can tell he is breathing normally. It doesnt look like he is gasping at all. Im totally confused. Please advise.

we have been advising. increase the water changes till the nitrites are down to zero

if your tank has been cycled, and youre still getting nitrites, your tank is SERIOUSLY underfiltered, or overstocked, and i suspect the latter.

now that i read your sig, holy WOW. i wouldn't put HALF those fish in a 90g tank. that's your problem right there. and yes, catfish are sensitive to nitrites.

edit: sorry.. i guess i would rather put it this way. pick any TWO of those fish, and your tank will be fully stocked. MAYBE three.

two words, OVER STOCKED. either get a much bigger tank, more tanks, or get rid of some of the fish

Yeah Im still waiting on my 240 Gallon to arrive. Its been shipped, and should be here this week. I just did a 50% water change so we will see how he weathers the next couple days. Thank you all for the advice. Ill keep you updated on her progress.

wow.. by the way you made it sound, i figured he would be goners by today. glad to see he is still alive.

even in a 240, i would still pick a couple of those guys (GT, RD, and DEFINITELY the figure eight puffer [which will live a much longer more comfortable life in brackish water]) to get rid of before you stock it. :)

Just thought everyone would like to know, my Cat is doing great now. I also went out and bought a 125 Gallon knowing I couldnt wait for my 240 to get here. He seems much happier. Thank you everyone for your help.
