I go through the saaaame thing lupes! I either get uptight managers who refuse to give me pest snails (mostly because they don't know what they are even as I'm pointing at them) or I get weird looks from employees who are grateful: *shrug* "The more you take, the less we have to worry about"![]()

The pic looks identical to some small snails that turned up last year with some live plants. They established a thriving population in my 38, mainly living on/among the floating hornwort tangle, but certainly did no harm. Mine are less than 1/2", closer to 1/4". Oddly enough, the population seems to have declined over the last few months. They were much more plentiful, now I only see a few among the duckweed when I thin it out. I have to wonder whether the addition of the L129's to the tank affected their numbers. Possibly competition for algae...
