I am picking up some Geo Balzani's here in a few weeks man really been wanting them for a long time just not sure if i want to mix them with the Altifrons..
I wouldn't mix them. I don't even want my T's mixed but there are only cause I got to paint before I setup more tanks and it's been to cold to paint. The only geo I considered getting was Geo. sp. 'Read Head Tapajos' but decided not to. Tried to get my mom to get interested in them so I could put some in her tank but that was a no go.
No doubt, Yeah i found out that they are going to be 2" and i am getting 6 of them so i can put them in a 30gal til i get them into a 40g breeder..
Now I am thinking of getting rid of the last remaining Malawi in the 120gal maybe get some Red Shoulder Severums and putting the Balzani's in with them should be enough space..
Yeah yeah i know right, But for real i have bred a crap load of African species in the last 10 yrs so now i need to move on to the Americans, I am also doing the Australians as well..
There are some but just not common and readily available, I will be diving into the Rainbow fish, I have bred the common Rainbow last year, I currently have the Boesemani Rainbow right now and i plan to breed that species this summer along with some Dwarf Rainbows like the Threadfin and Celebe's Rainbows, Next year i will be moving into the New Guinea species and the Turqouis Rainbow..
