Okay so yesterday I introduced 3 honey gouramis (1 female 2 males)into my 25g planted aquarium. They are having a great time darting around and even playing with my cories... Today I came home to a pretty large bubble nest and I noticed that one of my males changed colors! They were both the standard with a white face and belly and orange back but today one of the males, only one, has a BLACK face and belly an orange back and a bright yellow dorsal... it's soooo weird. The other has a tinge of black on his lower dorsal and a tinge of yellow on his upper but the other one has such dramatic colors. What does this mean??? Oh also the more colorful one is who built the nest and he kind of kicks the other guy out lol he just hits him with his little feeler (?) things, nothing to hurt him. Any idea what the heck is going on?
