I thought it was gross how everyone put ranch dressing on everything down here.. Loaded cheese fries here are cheese with chili with a side of ranch. I thought it was wierd but now I like it!

I remember watching a show about the "maggot cheese". It's a delicacy, and supposedly an aphrodisiac too. I don't think I'll be trying it, sounds :sick: to me.

Perfect example of local trends. You in Cali find it weird but Dangerdoll, myself, and Dougall enjoy it. We're roughly within a hour of each other in NJ/PA. Fries like that with a big greasy cheesburger, and a few Killians is my favorite bar food.
Local trends! heh I thought it was just a canadian food! All the fast food chains sell it (except I haven't seen it at McDonalds) here as "Poutine".
I was reading online doing some research on my sea cucumber... ( i know it general chitchat). But anyway, I went to a site that said that they were a delicacy in other countries. They pay millions for sea cucmber!!!!! Yeah like the one i have in my tank right now... It would not be so bad but Have you ever watched one work????? For those of you who havent, They eat the sand and poop it back out clean! uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh ewwwwwwwww!

Actually.. It doesn't sit for that long. It's usually a very seasonal thing where they make it right after harvest, and then it ferments/pickels (depending on the type), and then it is served usually later that year. However, if the conditions are right (and the proper pots are used) kimchi will last through out the year without proper refrigeration.
