I don't know exactly what i've done or not done - certainly nothing special with having 8 tanks on the go at once. Yes i know - MTS is a problem.
Our guppies, once i guess conditions were right for them, don't STOP having babies. Our babies from July are now having babies, along with another female (who coincidently likes to have them EVERY 2 WEEKS) we aquired along the way. Right now, we have 4 adult females, about 20 junior fry - about 6 weeks old, and about another 50 that are a month or younger. Want some? (Wish i knew how to send them through the mail.) We have about 75-80 at current time - mostly fry though. And with all 4 females still gravid, more will arrive with due time, i am sure.
At this rate, the 55 we are looking at getting won't be big enough - long before summer gets here!
