How do you like the MAG FLOAT?

they really do help a lot. Make sure you get the right size or bigger for your tank otherwise the glass may be too thick and the magnet will not hold.

also, avoid rubbing it on the seals, as it can tear it up.

i like them but they dont do good with some algae IMO

I like it a lot but you have to be careful not to put in gravel as if one little piece gets caught in the magnet, you will scratch your tank up somethin' fierce.

In order to prevent the "hard" algae from taking hold, I would suggest cleaning the glass at least three times a week depending on the rate of growth. It is nice though, no need to get your hands wet!

I've never really liked them, myself. I prefer to get my arms wet by getting all up in the tank with either a scraper or a pad.
